Our steel slag vertical mill is a highly efficient grinding equipment for processing steel slag. Through advanced grinding technology, it converts blocky steel slag into steel slag powder with uniform particle size and high activity. Its standard installed power ranges from 1600 to 5000 kW, and the standard output is 50 to 180 tons per hour. The core components of the equipment are made of high-quality wear-resistant materials that meet international quality standards, featuring a long service life and high energy utilization rate, serving the global steel and building materials industry.

2025052815463696955 The working process of our steel slag vertical mill is an efficient integrated process that combines grinding, drying and powder selection:

Feeding: After being dried and crushed, the block-shaped steel slag is fed into the mill via the feeding port's air-locking feeding mechanism, where it settles in the middle of the revolving grinding disc.

Grinding and drying: The material travels toward the grinding disc's edge under the influence of centrifugal force, where it is crushed by the grinding rollers' pressure and shearing. Efficient grinding and synchronous drying are achieved when the hot air swiftly evaporates any remaining moisture from the ground materials as it passes upward through the grinding discs and makes countercurrent contact with them.

Sorting and collection: With the hot air flow for powder selection, the finely ground and dried powder rises to the top of the steel slag vertical mill. A closed-loop circulation system is created when the classifier blades rotate at a high speed, allowing qualified fine powder to pass through the airflow while coarse particles fall back to the grinding disc as a result of centrifugal force and are re-ground alongside the freshly fed materials.

Finished product output: The collected completed steel slag powder is moved to the finished product warehouse for storage and future usage using an air chute, an elevator, and further equipment.
