Working Process of A Concrete Plant
Aggregate Batching: Different sizes of aggregate, such as 2-4 stone, 1-2 stone, and sand, are transferred from the aggregate bins to their corresponding batching hoppers for accurate weighing.
Powder Material Batching: Cement and fly ash are conveyed by screw conveyors from the cement silos to the powder weighing hopper for accurate weighing
Liquid Material Batching: Water and admixture are pumped by water pumps from the water tank and admixture tank to their weighing hoppers for accurate weighing.
Aggregate Conveying: The aggregates under the batching hoppers are collected and lifted by a flat belt conveyor or a inclined belt conveyor to the waiting hopper above the mixer, ready for mixing.
Powder and Liquid Conveying: Powder materials and liquids are fed directly into the mixer through pipelines. AGICO's conveying system can pre-mix water and admixture before they enter the mixer, which effectively improves mixing efficiency.
Mixing: The materials are mixed in a specific sequence: aggregates plus water first, followed by cement, admixture, and the remaining water. This ensures that the aggregates are fully coated with cement paste, which improves concrete strength. AGICO uses a twin-shaft forced mixer. After thorough mixing for 30 to 60 seconds, the concrete is uniformly mixed.
Discharging: After mixing is complete, the concrete is discharged into the discharge hopper.
Fianl Discharge: The finished concrete is loaded directly from the discharge hopper into concrete mixer trucks and then transported to the construction site.
