Working Process Of Cement Rotary Kiln
Feeding: The crushed raw materials are fed into the feeding end of the rotary kiln through a hopper and conveying device.
Heating and Temperature Rise: The temperature inside the rotary kiln gradually increases. The rotation and inclination of the kiln body ensure that the raw materials are evenly heated. During the heating process, the raw materials go through stages of drying, preheating and calcination.
Chemical Reactions: In the high-temperature zone of the rotary kiln (usually between 1300°C to 1600°C), a series of chemical reactions occur in the raw materials, finally forming the cement clinker.
Clinker production: The raw materials inside the rotary kiln melt at high temperatures and form larger particles, which are what we call "cement clinker," and they are discharged from the end of the kiln body.
Cooling: After being discharged from the rotary kiln, the clinker is usually quickly cooled to room temperature through cooling equipment outside the rotary kiln (such as a rotary cooler).
