FAQ

Q: Can the AGICO HZS60 plant actually produce 60 cubic meters per hour?

A: 60m³/h is the theoretical productivity of the AGICO HZS60 under ideal conditions. In real production environments, actual output usually ranges from 45 to 55m³/h. This depends on multiple factors, including material characteristics, mix design, mixing time, operator skill, and equipment condition. For example, when producing stiff concrete with low slump, the mixing cycle may need to extend beyond 70 seconds. This reduces hourly output accordingly. When producing plastic concrete, the plant can operate closer to its theoretical capacity. AGICO recommends that customers use a conservative estimate of 50m³/h for project scheduling. It is also advisable to reserve extra time for equipment commissioning and operator training.

Q: How should I choose between the belt conveyor and skip hoist versions of the AGICO HZS60?

A: The choice of feeding method depends on your site conditions and budget. The belt conveyor version offers stable and continuous material flow. It has a high conveying capacity of up to 80m³/h and requires less maintenance. This version is suitable for large sites and commercial concrete plants that need long hours of continuous production. Its drawbacks are a larger footprint and higher equipment cost. The skip hoist version has a compact structure. It occupies less space and costs less to purchase. This makes it ideal for urban sites with limited space, mountain projects, and first-time investors. The skip hoist has a slower feeding speed. Its wire rope and guide rails also need regular inspection and replacement. AGICO engineers provide specific recommendations based on your site layout drawing and production requirements.

Q: How many containers are needed to ship a complete AGICO HZS60 plant overseas?

A: A standard AGICO HZS60 plant with two cement silos typically requires three 40-foot high-cube containers for ocean shipping. AGICO considered international transport convenience during the product design phase. The plant uses a modular design. All component dimensions are optimized to fit standard container sizes. This maximizes container space utilization. For configurations without cement silos, fewer containers are needed. AGICO's logistics department provides detailed packing and shipping plans after contract signing, based on the final configuration list.

Q: What is the total power of the AGICO HZS60 plant? What are the power supply requirements?

A: The total installed power of the AGICO HZS60 is approximately 105 to 110kW. The exact figure depends on optional equipment, such as the number of cement silos, screw conveyors, and whether a heating or cooling water system is added. The main power consumers are: mixer 37kW, aggregate belt conveyor 7.5kW (less for skip hoist version), air compressor 7.5kW, screw conveyors about 15kW (total for two units), water and additive pumps about 3kW, and control system and lighting about 2kW. For sites without stable grid power, AGICO recommends a generator set of at least 125KVA. The HZS60 electrical control system includes protection against phase loss, overload, and short circuits. It can handle voltage fluctuations within ±10%.

Q: How much space is required to install an AGICO HZS60? Can the layout be customized?

A: A standard AGICO HZS60 with belt conveyor feeding requires approximately 300 square meters of floor space (about 25m × 15m). This area covers the batching machine, belt conveyor, main mixing tower, control room, and discharge zone. It does not include aggregate stockpile areas, cement silo foundations, vehicle access roads, or office and living quarters. The skip hoist version eliminates the long belt conveyor, so its footprint is reduced by about one-third. AGICO's engineering team can customize the layout based on your site survey drawings. Customizations include adjusting the belt conveyor angle and length, repositioning cement silos, and changing the control room orientation. For sites with severe space constraints, AGICO recommends the skip hoist configuration.

Q: What warranty and after-sales support does AGICO provide for the HZS60?

A: AGICO provides a 12-month warranty for the HZS60 concrete plant, starting from the date of commissioning and acceptance. During the warranty period, AGICO covers the cost of replacement parts and technical support for failures caused by manufacturing defects. After-sales services include: dispatching technicians to site during installation to guide foundation work and equipment assembly; performing commissioning and trial runs after installation; providing systematic operation and maintenance training for the customer's operators and maintenance staff; supplying complete technical documentation, including foundation layout drawings, electrical schematics, operation manuals, and spare parts lists; and offering fault diagnosis and troubleshooting support via remote communication or on-site visits during the warranty period. For overseas customers, AGICO provides on-site services through authorized distributors or by dispatching engineers directly. Specific service arrangements are discussed and confirmed during contract negotiation.

Q: Can the AGICO HZS60 be upgraded in the future to increase production capacity?

A: The HZS60 has some upgrade potential, but technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness must both be considered. The most direct upgrade is to replace the JS1000 mixer with a JS1500 mixer (batch capacity increases from 1.0m³ to 1.5m³). The PLD1600 batching machine should also be upgraded to PLD2000. The belt conveyor capacity must be verified, and the motor may need to be upgraded as well. After the mixer upgrade, the total plant power increases by about 15kW. The existing power supply system must be upgraded accordingly.
