Product Description
Integrated Drying, Grinding, and Classification

Product Advantages
Four Priorities for Coal Grinding
The mill circuit is configured around fuel preparation, process stability, maintainability, and the required safety interfaces.
AGICO's Integrated Process Arrangement
Drying, grinding, conveying, and classification operate inside one coordinated vertical mill circuit.
Controlled Product Fineness
The classifier returns coarse particles to the table while qualified pulverized fuel leaves with the product gas stream.
AGICO's Compact Vertical Layout
Grinding rollers, the table, gas passages, and classifier form a compact arrangement for cement-plant fuel preparation.
Fuel-Specific Engineering Inputs
Fuel moisture, grindability, fineness, throughput, hot-gas supply, and burner demand guide equipment and auxiliary selection.
Working Process

From Raw Coal to Classified Fuel
Meter raw coal into the mill
Rollers grind the material bed
Hot gas dries and lifts particles
The classifier returns coarse material

Operating Interfaces
Four Interfaces of a Coal Mill Circuit
The complete system connects stable feeding, material-bed grinding, drying gas, classification, collection, and pulverized-fuel delivery.

Fuel Feeding
Metered feeding supports a stable material bed and must match the coal size, moisture, storage, and isolation strategy.
Grinding and Loading
Rollers press fuel against the rotating table while the loading system responds to changing feed behavior.

Drying Gas Control
Gas temperature and volume are coordinated with feed moisture, ventilation limits, and the collection stage.
Classification and Collection
Fine product passes to collection while coarse particles recirculate for further grinding.

FAQ
Can the same mill grind coal and petroleum coke?
AGICO can evaluate both fuels, but they should not be treated as interchangeable. Petroleum coke may require a finer product and different operating conditions. Fuel analysis, grindability, moisture, and burner requirements are needed before the configuration is selected.
What determines the required mill capacity?
AGICO CEMENT starts with the kiln and calciner fuel demand, then checks operating hours, reserve margin, fuel moisture, grindability, and target fineness. The nominal feed rate alone is not enough to size the complete system.
Which safety information is needed before quotation?
AGICO needs the fuel analysis, volatile matter, expected moisture, storage and feeding arrangement, process-gas source, local standards, and the plant fire and explosion protection philosophy. These inputs affect isolation, monitoring, inerting, venting, and equipment interfaces.
Can the mill be used in a retrofit project?
Yes. AGICO CEMENT can review a retrofit when the available building envelope, foundations, ducts, hot-gas source, electrical supply, collection equipment, and tie-in points are documented. A site layout and current process data make the evaluation more reliable.
