Product Description
Vertical grinding for granulated slag
AGICO Slag Vertical Mill grinds granulated blast-furnace slag into fine powder for cement blending and concrete production. The AGIN series covers standard outputs of 50–180 t/h at a specific surface area of 420–450 m²/kg.
Drying, grinding and classification are combined in one mill system. AGICO provides mill equipment and grinding-system engineering, so the mill, hot-gas supply and powder collection can be planned together.

Product Advantages
Drying Within The Grinding Circuit
AGICO's slag mill uses hot gas during grinding, bringing moisture removal into the same process.
Adjustable Pressure For Slag Grinding
AGICO's hydraulic loading system adjusts roller pressure to suit material grindability and support a stable grinding bed.
Controlled Fineness For Slag Powder
AGICO's variable-speed separator regulates powder fineness and returns coarse particles for further grinding.
Accessible Rollers For Planned Maintenance
AGICO's maintenance cylinders allow individual rollers to swing outside the housing for inspection and servicing.
Working Process

Metered feeding
Slag passes through iron removal and airlock feeding.
01
Grinding and drying
Rollers grind the material bed while hot gas removes moisture.
02
Powder classification
Fine particles leave with the gas; coarse particles return for grinding.
03
Product collection
A bag filter separates powder for downstream conveying and storage.
04
System Configuration

Grinding and hydraulic loading
The table, rollers and hydraulic system form the grinding assembly. Lubrication supports the bearings and reducer.

Gas flow and separation
The separator, collector and fan work together to move gas and recover fine powder.

FAQ
What information should I send with a slag mill inquiry?
Send AGICO a feed analysis, moisture range, particle-size data, target output and product fineness. A site layout and available heat-source details also help define the grinding system.
Can the same selection be used for steel slag?
AGICO assesses steel slag separately. Its composition, metal content and grinding behavior differ from granulated blast-furnace slag, so the feed preparation and mill selection need a separate review.
How should fineness be specified?
Give AGICO the required specific surface area and test method. Include sieve residue or particle-size distribution when your product specification requires them.
Can existing hot gas be used for drying?
Share the gas temperature, flow and composition with AGICO. These inputs are used with the feed moisture and drying duty to assess heat-source integration.
What details are needed when ordering wear parts?
Provide AGICO with the mill model, component drawings or part numbers, wear measurements and operating history. These details help identify the roller and table components required.
