Product Description
Dry Powder Production with AGICO
AGICO Dry Grinding Ball Mill is used where ground material must leave the line as dry powder. Prepared feed passes through a rotating, media-filled drum without added grinding water. Discharged material can move onward directly or pass through a classification circuit that returns coarse particles. Mill selection is based on the feed and finished product together. AGICO combines equipment supply with process design to plan these connections as part of the grinding line.

Series Capacity
0.65–615 t/h
Main Motor
18.5–4,500 kW
Product Advantages
Powder Output Without Added Water
AGICO's dry mill keeps the grinding route free of added process water, delivering powder rather than slurry.
A Choice of Circuit Arrangements
The AGICO mill can be arranged for direct discharge or coupled with classification and coarse-particle return.
Coordinated Discharge and Dust Handling
AGICO's dry grinding system provides connections for powder discharge, collection and induced draft equipment.
Mill Selection Within the Line
AGICO reviews the grinding duty alongside upstream feed preparation and downstream equipment when developing the process arrangement.
Working Process
From Feed to Finished Powder

Dry closed-circuit grinding example showing feed, grinding media, classification, coarse return and powder collection.
Meter the Dry Feed
Prepared solids enter the drum at a controlled rate.
Break and Reduce Particles
The rotating liners lift the balls. Their falling and rolling motion applies impact and abrasion to the material.
Separate and Recover Powder
In the closed-circuit example, the discharge is lifted to a classifier. Coarse particles return for grinding; fine powder is collected from the air stream.

Line connections: Show the feed equipment, powder destination, available installation area and electrical supply.
FAQ
Does a quotation cover the classifier and bag filter?
List the equipment you want included. A mill-only request and a complete dry powder circuit have different supply boundaries; identify existing equipment that will remain in use.
Which product size information should be sent?
Provide the required particle size distribution, rather than only a broad description such as fine powder. Include the material name and the hourly quantity needed at that product size.
Can the feed contain moisture?
Report the measured feed moisture with the material data. This helps AGICO assess feed preparation and the proposed grinding route before an equipment arrangement is selected.
How should a liner replacement be identified?
Send the mill identification, liner drawings or measured dimensions, photographs and the required quantity. State whether the request concerns the feed end, shell or discharge end.
