How does the Limonite Rotary Kiln work?

The limonite rotary kiln is a large-scale equipment, consisting of the cylinder, transmission device, supporting and retaining wheel support device, kiln head and kiln tail seals, kiln head cover and combustion device, etc. Refractory bricks line the cylinder, which also has a heat exchanger. It rotates slowly and is positioned at a slight angle. Iron ore is added from the kiln's upper end (also known as the kiln tail) while it is operating. The lower end of the kiln is used to inject fuel, while the upper end is used to release flue gas. Iron ore inside the kiln continuously rolls from the feeding end to the discharging end on a periodic basis as the kiln cylinder spins. Through counter-current heat exchange with hot air flow, magnetite is heated while moving. Following chemical and physical transformations, it is released into the cooling device from the limonite rotary kiln as qualified products.
