Project Description
The AGICO Cement engineering and technology team successfully implemented the 8,000 TPD new dry-process cement production line project at a big cement plant in Liaoning Province, thoroughly exhibiting our fundamental advantages in the field of cement equipment manufacturing. This production line has undergone many creative upgrades based on conventional techniques: First, in contrast to traditional equipment, we have implemented a self-developed high-efficiency cyclone preheater technology that greatly increases thermal efficiency. Second, the production line's capacity to adapt to high-moisture and viscous materials has been greatly improved by the unique optimization of the raw material grinding system in light of the raw material characteristics in Northeast China.

Our EPC general contracting services, which are a landmark project of AGICO in the Northeast, encompass the complete process, from cement packing to raw material homogeneity. AGICO's dominant position in the design and building of large-scale cement production lines is once again confirmed by the project's successful completion.
Cement Manufacturing Process

1. Raw Material Preparation and Grinding
The process begins with the extraction of raw materials such as limestone, clay, and iron ore from quarries. These materials are crushed, proportioned, and thoroughly mixed to form a uniform raw meal.The raw meal is then finely ground to prepare it for the next stage.
2. Clinker Calcination in Rotary Kiln
The finely ground raw meal is fed into a rotary kiln, where it is subjected to high temperatures of approximately 1450°C. Within the kiln, complex chemical reactions take place, resulting in the formation of hard, nodular material known as clinker. This stage is the heart of cement production.
3. Cement Grinding
Once cooled, the clinker is mixed with a small amount of gypsum and, if necessary, other performance-enhancing additives. The mixture is then ground into a fine powder. This grinding process is crucial for determining the final properties of the cement.
4. Cement Cooling and Packing
The finished cement is rapidly cooled to prevent premature hydration. It is then stored in silos and subsequently packed in bags or loaded in bulk This structured manufacturing process ensures product delivers consistent strength, durability, and versatility, making it a fundamental material in construction projects worldwide.
